This is the Bald Eagles nest north of Roosevelt Island Park in VA, which can be seen along the Potomac Heritage Trail next to a wooden fence on the trail.
This Bald Eagle photo as taken at Roosevelt Island Park on the Mnt Vernon Trail. The Eagle took flight from its perch and I caught this picture as it flew over the Potomac River.
